TENNESSEE CREW
A Volunteer Tradition Since 1972
Founded in 1972, Tennessee Crew is one of the oldest club sports at the University of Tennessee and has been building a tradition of excellence, leadership, and community for more than 50 years.
Whether you're an experienced rower or have never thought about picking up an oar, Tennessee Crew offers the opportunity to challenge yourself, compete at a high level, and become part of a team that supports one another on and off the water. As a student-run organization, our members don't just participate. They help shape the future of the program through leadership, service, and dedication.
From practices on the Tennessee River to championship regattas and lifelong friendships, the experiences you gain extend far beyond college. As we enter an exciting new chapter with the development of our first dedicated training facility in decades, there's never been a better time to join Tennessee Crew and help build the next generation of Tennessee Rowers.
Why Tennessee Crew?
Our Future
For the first time in more than two decades, Tennessee Crew has the opportunity to establish a dedicated home for our program. A new riverfront boathouse and indoor training facility will provide year-round space for team meetings, erg training, equipment storage, and athlete development.
