Friends of UTK Crew

Friends of UTK Crew is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the growth, sustainability, and future of Tennessee Crew. Through the generosity and involvement of alumni, families, supporters, and community partners, Friends of UTK Crew provides resources and opportunities that help Tennessee Crew student-athletes compete, develop, and continue the proud tradition of Volunteer rowing.

For more than 50 years, Tennessee Crew has been built by generations of dedicated athletes, coaches, and supporters. Friends of UTK Crew was created to preserve that legacy while investing in the future of the program, ensuring that current and future student-athletes have the support needed to succeed both on and off the water.

From supporting equipment and training needs to helping establish a dedicated home for Tennessee Crew, Friends of UTK Crew plays a vital role in strengthening the program. By bringing together alumni, families, and friends of the team, the organization helps create a lasting foundation for Tennessee rowing for generations to come.

Boathouse Campaign

The University of Tennessee Crew Club is raising funds to establish its first dedicated boathouse facility since the Knoxville Glove Company. Through the generosity of a local property management firm, the club has secured a six-year lease of a warehouse property at no cost, providing a unique opportunity to create a permanent home for Tennessee rowing. This new facility will provide secure boat storage, indoor training space, and a foundation for the continued growth of collegiate rowing in Knoxville. Donations will directly support critical infrastructure improvements, including dock construction, electrical repair and upgrades, site preparation, equipment storage, and a team lounge. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps create a lasting resource that will serve current athletes and future generations of Tennessee rowers.
