Announcing Tennessee Crew's New (Old) Coach

We are excited to announce that this Fall, Tennessee Crew will be again be coached by Bill Waugh, a former member and former coach for the team. Bill last coached UT Crew in 2008 before moving to Kansas. Bill has recently returned to Knoxville, and will be returning to fill the vacant position of head coach. Bill brings years of rowing and coaching experience, and we couldn't be more excited to have him back!

Bill's Bio, as taken from the Officers Page:

Bill grew up in upstate New York. He began rowing during his first year at Georgia Tech, in 1991. The following year, he transferred to Tennessee, where he rowed for UT Crew from 1992 to 1995. During his time he also served as the team's President. Upon graduation, Bill coached the juniors of the Knoxville Rowing Association from 1996-2003, while also coaching UT Crew from 1998-2004, as well as 2008. In 2008, Bill moved to Kansas, where he coached the Topeka Rowing Association juniors from 2011-2014. His return to Knoxville marks his return to UT Crew, where he will again be coaching starting in the Fall of 2015. Bill works for Pilot Flying J, where he writes software.
